Default Agressive co-director- please help!

What do you do?

I have this community project that I'm working on that I technically share with another colleague. There are area X, Y, and Z to work on. We are from organization P, but we also organize this with few other organization. Supposedly, he does X and I do Z, just as the job arena we have with our home organization, P. Whereas Y is shared.

But in this case, he keeps on going behind my back to the student volunteers under my project Zs. And when I find out about them, it's already in the newsletter email update, with his signature on it of course.

Although what he took away is not much and I still already do tons of work with my group. But I feel like he's kinda making me look bad- as though I don't do my job and he "had" to do it for me. It makes my heart aches when I think about this because I felt as though he's still away my project!

In this situation, would you confront this guy? Or do you think I should just let him do it, since it's less work for me? Do you think it makes me look bad since he does this for me? Also partly I felt that I lost the big picture that I supposedly should have as the leader of my team... grr... really frustrated, what to do!!? How to confront this situation? Any advice?

Have the guy up about it - that's the first thing you should have done.
Tell him to keep his nose outta your business, unless you're lazy & don't mind him doing your work for you.
If this doesn't work you'll have to speak to someone in higher management.

If you don't get on top of this now you'll always feel 2nd rate to this guy!
