nice post, tysons a legend and in my opinion the best boxer ever, his aggresivness scared the **** out of nearly every boxer out their, and if it wasnt for polotics and ****ed up people like don king, he wud have been untouchable for even longer, but to bad things outside his life, ruined his boxing carrer. It all comes down to Robin Givens who had Mike put on mind altering drugs, Robin and her mother got together and plotted to control Mike in every way possible, fvcked around with his mind and said she was pregnant when she really wasnt, Even got together with Don King to make sure the money was being controlled by her, evil slag! After being married to a ho like that you would have trouble trusting and dealing with people too, lets not even mention his childhood.

I didnt know that Powerjim. That's a good bit of info.

I do remember seeing an interview with Lennox Lewis a couple weeks ago and on Tyson he did comment that he felt sorry for him and that the people around him is what got him into such a mess. I guess he was referring to Robin Givens and Co.

I still find Mike Tyson very entertaining.
I will stop and watch him still, whenever he's on. You never know what he's gonna say or do. I even find him a little humorous.
I can actually say that I'm still a fan of his.

I don't know about the Robin Givins thing though PJ. Yes, she wasn't a very good addition to his life, but I don't see how this could all be the fault of a woman.
He couldn't have been that weak for her. To let her lie and manipulate, and fake pregnancies, and let that affect his entire life. That would be very very sad, for any man to be like that. (OK...wait...I'm not sure if I'm still talking about Robin Givins and Mike Tyson anymore...LOL)

Oh...but I do think that Don King had a lot to do with it.
Some people can be taken advantage of and be manipulated in ways that others cannot be. It's about how much you're willing to let them, and how feeble your mind is to start with.

I don't really think that Mike Tyson was ever the smartest man in town. The baddest...yes. The smartest...no.
