Default Biggest Loser Challenge - Work thing

So we are doing a Biggest Lost challenge at work and I've been asked for ideas and how to determine at the end of the challenge...who is the biggest loser. I'm thinking we will do % of weight lost, instead of actual lbs. We will not do BF cause that is not convenient for everyone. So do you all think % would be the best way?

Not really. Its difficult to measure and inaccurate.

Before and after photos.

Albeit a bit personal for work.

what if someone gained muscle while dropping the fat, it wouldn't help since the weight removed is still being added to from the muscle.

how long will the contest go? 3-6 months?

yes, % is best. We do this challenge in our "team" here at work all the time.. keeps things fun. Of course, I encourage it more when I'm in a "cutting" phase.

that is what is unfair about it...same with the tv show, the guy who looked the best physique-wise lost and the skinnier guys with little mass win. I guess it can't be perfect. We will probably go with %

the first phase is just from 02/01 thru 03/29 - 8 weeks. Then we'll start another one.

I'm excited about it...winning stuff gets me motivated!

I think you guys should keep track of % lost, and also at the end, give everyone a chance to say why they should win. Just to see what htey went through and the determination they put in it. Then decide from there.

Sounds like good stuff Hanna. My company does a weight challenge thing before thanksgiving and you get weighed in once again after the New Year.

There are pretty cool prizes. I haven't participated in years. I always miss the date..

Good luck!
