Default Copying a DVD movie?
How do I copy a DVD movie from a disc to store on my computer to be burnt later?

I have Nero 7 ultra edition.

you have to use decryption software like AnyDVD or DVD Decrypter; then you need DVD shrink or some other re-authoring software if you want to ever burn it back on a dvd. Go to afterdawn.com and you can find out everything you need to know.

Being a Mac man, I have 2 bits of software...

Mac the Ripper - this rips the DVD to the hard drive.

Dragon Flix - this compresses the DVD & burns it so I can fit a 7gb on a 4.4gb cd (after I've stripped out all the foreign audio etc...)

This is correct and I agree with 110% of it. Just the programs I was going to recommend too. DVD Decrypter is freeware as well. AnyDVD isn't however its a great tool for stripping away dvd protection.

Bump on the DVD decrypter and DVD shrink. I use both and they work great with nero.
