myspace pics need help

hey guys, ive started on myspace and am having trouble putting my ugly mug on there. its says that my pic is to large and to install a program called infranview but that program wont run on my pc. my pc is fairly new so it has all the programs for photo editing like PHOTOIMPACT but i dont know how to resize my pics. any ideas???

As for the actual topic, it depends on what photo editor you have. Somewhere in the program there should be an option to edit the image size. Then you just adjust the height and width (make sure to keep the proportion) and it should reduce the file size.

Tell me what photo editors you have and perhaps i can be more specific.
Otherwise what you can do is upload you photos to an album at photobucket.com and adjust them there, its easy to find and use. Then just save them to your computer again at their new size. I do that sometimes if im too lazy to open up a program and edit them individually.
