Knowing that we are all body shape conscious people here, I wanted to ask you a question and to see what's your instinctive response to it.
If you have a long-time old female friend whom you haven't seen for years, but you guys had been good friends and now for the first time in more than 3 years, you guys have the chance to finally meet up. You, whatever your sexuality inclination is, are a style conscious person who is keenly aware of popular trends on fashion and music and grew up in Manhattan. So when you finally see your friend and you see that she has gained like 30+ pounds and doesn't look as hot as she used to, what are your first thoughts? I wouldn't care. How she (or he) looks is of no consequence to me. I'd just be happy to see him/her and try to do some catching up.

I had a similar thing happen. I was skating around richmond shirtless and passed a girl I knew from highschool who was a royal biatch to me. I got bigger and leaner, she got fatter. She stared, I didn't. Twas good times.

Seen a few high school folks since I've started back to the gym...and yes, they are all the middle-aged professional types that have gotten content to just sit behind desks and be lazy and so forth...they look at me and wonder why I'd care to work so hard, but even the initial results are showing them something...
