Early Boykins is from right up the road at Eastern Michigan. I highly doubt that he can bench 3 plates though. Its just hearsay.

Exactly, I have heard alot of speculation on athletes, but yet never no proof, just someting they get from the rumor mill.

They say Tiger benches 350. Although he is incredibly gifted and has a well structured body, I dont buy that one either until I see it or hear from other credible sources who have seen it themselves

Well, it's on NBA.com in his bio and it was said on TNT...true though, it is hearsay, however I'd like to believe it's true...

It's also on another bunch of websites...and of course it's a fact that everything on the internet is true...

On a side note, a lot of basketball players are actually HUGE..I met Wally Zserbiak a few years ago and he is A LOT bigger than he appears on TV...talk about strong though, look at the body guard, Baron Davis.
This is right.

I saw a story about him on beyond the glory. He was like all american in track and football, basketball and some other stuff.

I saw a show about him a couple of years ago too. I dunno if it was his home gym or something. They showed him working out. He was doing an exercise kinda like hack squat but he jumps instead of just squat.. He had like 3 plates on each side. I dunno if it's the same show you're talking about. But he was pretty strong; benching 315 for reps.

It's funny what people say in this forum. They base it on the amount of muscle he has, lol.. Look at this guy.. he doesn't even have as much mass as Ben but he sure is strong...

Pretty muscular for a 6'7" guy...

Just because they can't do it doesn't mean other people can't... LOL

I can do 315 for more than 20. I'm pretty sure Ben can wratchet out a few reps of it.

Just been busy with school, man. I'd be done with my AA after this sem.

Edit: Oh yeah, I forgot.. I also got in a car accident and injured my neck/spine. I still lifted weights then one day I couldn't stand, lol, so I took a break.

A break as in your back into training currently? Man be thankful you can walk, sounds like a nasty accident.

Yeah, I'm back in the gym. Just trying to lose the weight I gained. lol.

Funny thing is, the accident didn't really seem bad at all. But the after effects were. Nice to see you're a mod now. Good job. You're always one of the nice members here.

Well with your knowledge of dieting i'm sure it won't be long before that weight comes off...

Accident wasn't bad but it tweaked your spine and so forth? Just a +1 case of like, whiplash or something? Along time ago my buddy got blindsided and the docotrs told him he'd be in a wheel-chair his whole life. Thankfully he is mobile without one today. Did u need to rehab or anything?

Sry for being too nosey!

I was turning to my driveway when an old lady hit me. Dunno how fast she was going. Prolly not even 50+mph. But when she hit me, I hit the pole. Got a little dizzy and got out. Took care of business and went to the ER just in case. They told me to go to chiro so I won't have neck arthritis so I did.

The chiro asked me if I lift weights and I said once in a while coz I didn't wanna stop. After I've been going to chiro for a few weeks, I felt worse. I had trouble getting up from lying down or sitting. But thank God, it didn't get worse. I just continued the chiro until I felt better.

Got bored working out so I got myself a German Shepherd. I was gonna train her for Schutzhund but she doesn't have enough drive.
