Default things kids say...

My child says the most off the wall things that make me laugh.

My grandmother came to visit. He has not seen her since he was 2 and he asks her, "Grandma how old are you?" She replies, "72"...his eyes got really big and he said, " Wow, you sure are lucky to still be alive".

I was embarrassed...lol

Last month I was teasing him about having a girlfriend, which he really doesn't have, he is only 7. So he gets all upset and I say jokingly, "but, I thought you love Tyler" and he got all serious and said, "Mom, I do love Tyler and she loves me. You shouldn't make fun of our love" mua hahahaha

Today he told me that when he gows up he is going to buy me the most beautiful house I've ever seen. Suhweet. I told him that would be awesome, but he'd have his own family to buy a house for. Then again he got all serious and asked, "I wonder where my family and I will live?" I said, "hopefully close to us" and then out of nowhere with all the seriousness in the world he says, "well mom, I sure do hope that I don't get an ugly wife" bwa hahaha

I can't pay for this kind of entertainment.

LOL...I love the things that kids say.
They're so cute and innocent.

My son's a little crazy though.

His school was having a tea party for Mother's day last year, and all the mom's were invited to go....well, when I showed up, his teacher jokingly said, "Oh, I didn't think you were going to make it".
So, puzzled, I said "why?"
She says "cause Owen told us you wouldn't come to this tea party because you don't drink tea....he said you only drink beer".
WTF? My kid just made me look like an alcoholic.

He also just got this stuffed animal (yeah, he has a fascination with stuffed animals), and it's a funny looking dog, I think, with reindeer antlers and a santa hat on.
He named the dog "Olive". So, I said, "Owen, why did you name this dog Olive"?
He said..."C'mon Mom...It's in the song....'Olive the other reindeer used to laugh and call him names'...."
HaHa...silly little kid.

Funny Hanna. But hey, who wants a lagoon creature anyhow?

Last night my 5 year old daughter asked how women got babies in their bellies. That kinda caught us off guard. Lol.

my son's teacher called to ask me once how I was doing. Mason told her that I cut my finger off making dinner and was in the hospital.

my three year old cousin knows about death and ghost.

i was watching an episode of Grey's and there was a scene where the guy was on the table being operated on, the surgeons had trouble keeping him stable, and the scene got hectic. Well, my little cousin comes in looking for me and says "what happen, he die? he ghost?" That boy will know when he's lost a parent, which is kind of bad becuase he has emotions i don't see in 4-5 year olds

When its time for dinner she always says she's full but at the same time she'll say "MA MA I hungry in the cupboard"..LOL meaning she wants a snack from the cupboard...you gotta be there to hear it its real funny.

Kids! They can be so opinionated. My middle son used to get upset if anyone called me by my given name. He would stomp his foot and yell, "She's not Amy! She's MOM!"

Bumping this, cause today I laughed my ass off at my smart ass son....sometimes I wanna smack him in his mouth, but today I thought it was funny.....

I was at my mom's house picking up my son, and he's the room with my nephews playing some stupid video game, and had no idea I was listening.
My one nephew is getting all mad because my son keeps killing him in the game, so my nephew starts whining about it...
Owen says to him, "Vincent, build a bridge....Get over it".

Ha. I think it was funnier because of the way he said it, and the fact that it was one 6 year old saying it to another 6 year old.
And even though I want to get mad at him, sometimes I can't because I think he gets his smart assyness from me anyway.
Wooops!
