Never had one myself but really, unless you hate tight spaces, there isn't much to it! Unless you have to ingest some sort of "contrast". My wife has had several and my son had one when he had a somach virus. Just lay on a table, the machine works it magic. All you have to do is listen to the MRI tech and do what your told! Simple.

I have a torn pcl, so i had a couple. You just have to be still for like 45min. Oh and it is a bit small in there.

When I was in highschool I worked @ an MRI center. I never had one, but never heard too many complaints. I guess only if you are claustrophobic, you should have a problem. I think some of them nowadays even have music in them.

Ive had a catscan but not an MRI. I know those things are expensive whether you have insurance or not.

My wife is an MRI tech and gives these tests as her job. You have nothing to worry about at all.

Haha. Its for my lower back. Its been whacked for a couple years now. My doctor wants to know if i have a herniation or not i guess so he knows how to proceed with treatment. I wanna get it fixed.

Whats expensive Nite, the catscan?

ive had an MRI when i was pretty young but i still remember...i was put in this cylindrical like machine and it made a loud buzzing noise, they must have put me meds cuz i conked out after the first few minutes but it lasted like 45 total

I wonder if theyll be able to tell me on the spot if somethings wrong or do they have to send the results somewhere for someone esle to look at?
