Well, I made it. I can say I have a new respect for those things. It totally locked me up. I couldnt move and it was hard to breathe. I would definitely comply with commands after a 5 second cycle of that.

Where the one probe went into my lower back is still a little sore today.

Oh yes. It has an over 90% effective rate on people on drugs or alcohol. It not only inflicts pain but affects your motor skills as well. They showed videos of people on drugs, alcohol, mental disturbed. They all went down.

I ask cos as you know people on PCP usually dont feel anything, i guess that kind of thing falls into that 10%.

Actually the taser had a higher success rate with PCP users. It was like 97.4%.

They have different cartridges, longer wire reach and thicker probes. These probes can go thru 2 inches of clothing.

The probes also dont have to penetrate the skin to be effective. As long as the probes have good contact with each other, it will work.

There is always some way to counter the penetration of the probes but we are trained when and how to deploy the weapon PJ. Your comment about PCP users is a good one. I have, and I am sure Padzz has too, had many experiences with people that have been on "wet". I have seen them run away from car accidents on completely broken legs. The effectiveness of a taser on a PCP user is decreased but can help. Instead of taking 8 guys to bring down the subject you may only need 4!
