Not sure. I have never been there this time of the year. I was out there during September and it was hot then.
I say go ahead and pack it just in case you need it. Its always better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. Oh, and dont forget to play "Craps"..

My 3rd time playing craps, I shot the dice for an hour straight. Two shooters after me, that guy shot for almost 40 minutes.
People at the table were calling me "the Juice" for oj simpson... haha??? they were placing bets in my name. I had like 3 pit bosses standing there watching me, and when I lost, everyone was clapping and hoot'n and holler'n..... good times...

Blackjack is your best odds in the house. Unless your planning on laying down big bucks, craps is pointless IMO. I at the casino's at least once per month and typically will only play blackjack and the many variations of it.

This is probably the best time of the year to go...fall/early winter. The days are very nice (70s) and the nights are relatively cool which means you won't be sweating your ass off in your slick clothes. Definitely hit the pools, and **** craps. Learn some hold'em and make some money off the idiots at the MGM...play cheap blinds and play conservatively and you'll come out a winner almost every time.

With the field bet, it looks good because there are the most numbers of dice combinations in there...The field bet is this..
2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 12 Looks good but there are 16 dice combinations that can give you those numbers. With the remaining other dice numbers...5,6,7,8 - there are 20 dice combinations to get those. So, you see, the odds are in the house's favor on the field bet.
