My sisters at it again. Her and her husband let internet articles and books influence their parenting more than just plain ol common sense. I dont know if its my business to get involved in this one but I feel like i should for that my little nephews sake. Its like their using him to make some kind of statement.

That stinks. I believe in good old fashion parenting. Hmmm. get involved?
There is no winning in that. Comment all you want, but they never listen.

Take it from me, I have tried many, many a times when it comes to my niece/nephew and nothing.

Last year they wouldnt let annabelle go trick or treating. They let her pass out candy but they also "screened" the people that came to the door cause they didnt want her to get freaked out from a costume that might be too scary. If it didnt meet their criteria, she couldnt answer the door.

What the hell is a "sleep doula"??? Is that actually someone that comes to your house to help you teach your child to sleep? WTF?

I dont think its for anyone to judge really, my brother has different ideas of parenting to myself but i dont consider it wrong just very different, different strokes for different folks.

I dunno. If youve got some time and wanna be entertained, you should continue to read on. It blows my mind sometime the rationales they come up with for dealing with certain issues.
