Election Day
Anyone who votes Republican just because Saddam Hussein was found guilty and sentenced to death...is an idiot. The guy was pronounced guilty and sentenced to death since the first second they found him. I dont know if this is a GOP strategy to have him sentenced the days before the election or not...but if it is, dont buy it. Killing Saddam wont solve anything, someone else will just take his place..
its simple...if u disapprove of Bush or the war, or support gay marriage or stem cell research...vote democrat. or if u dont, well the war is more important because people are dying.. dont vote republican just cuz ur republican...look at the people ON THE ISSUES...dont buy into any of the negative ads posted on commercials...visit the websites of the people and look at them ON THE ISSUES. 2 or 6 more years of republicans means...2 and 6 more years of sex scandals, war, leaks...war.....war.....war problems and in all seriousness, dont be posting threads about how some candidate hacked into something or did something immoral...because sorry to say, THEY ALL DO IT. only FEW get caught.

I seriously doubt that those in Congress and the Senate will make any of these changes as it would kill their way of life.

i wont vote demorcrat for a very similar reason. IMO the democratic party cultivates this society of excuses,lawsuits and unaccountability. Their campaigns target minority groups with hand outs, repressing them instead of giving incentive to better themselves. The democrats would like us to believe we are no longer a noble country.
As far as the war is concerned, Im not exactly a supporter, but I do believe there is a purpose greater than what is on the surface. In case you dont know the media is generally liberal, and report the facts as they would like them to be believed. Yes, its a shame innocent women and children have to die. But Id rather it be the enemy's women and children, then ours!!

we will never win the war on terror or iraq. war has never solved anything...it just killed innocent people who will never get their God given life again. 660K iraqi's have died so far, meaning 660K iraqi's will never get their freedom...almost 3000 Americans have died in iraq, thats equal to the WTC attack...sadly. the terrorists WANT to die, they keep recruiting and the more we bomb them and invade them, the more they get pissed and recruit....its time for us to get out because we did what we needed in iraq...now we're doing NOTHING BUT fighting insurgents...and the insurgents wont stop. a vote for the republicans is a vote for more bloodshed, a vote for more sex scandals and leaks...and u may not care, but i do...america looks BAD, america has a TERRIBLE image thanks to the GOP...and its wrong. u may not care, but one day in 50+ years, 100+ countries are gonna ally and invade us because they hate us.....i dont know about u, but im sick of bloodshed.....dont say the Dems want to surrender, because the Dems just want to save lives...and exit a war that we OBVIOUSLY WONT WIN!!

Bush needs to go, but in terms of Iraq what solutions are the democrats offering, nothing that I know of it's all too easy to sit there and criticise another admin but when they get the power what then? Also I'd like to point out that the majority of the Democrats agreed on the war (with the evidence presented to them at the time). So it just has one big show ball effect, a full withdrawal now will make the problems worse.
I do however think that Bush and his foreign policy is one of the worst things to happen to the west in recent history, so for the future Bush needs to go. "Yes, its a shame innocent women and children have to die. But Id rather it be the enemy's women and children, then ours!!" This is a terrible ignorant and superficial comment to make. How can the innocent civilians that have being killed in Iraq be considered the enemy.

I dont think my comment is ignorant. In a perfect world there would be no war. But lets face it its not a perfect world. Ask yourself, would you perfer the fighting were being done on american soil. In all reality, if we hadn't gone in and attacked it was only a matter of time b4 we had another wtc incedent. Don't be so nieve.
