trick or treat let down!
Kids get all dressed up and we head around the neighborhood...wth is going on in the world? No one has their lights on and the one's that do are few and far between. There are tons of kids in our neighborhood too...the culprit is "trunk or treat". So far I have been against this trunk or treat idea, but it seems in the coming years I will have to conform to this new fad and decorate my car with retarded spider webs and go park in a lot so my kids can actually trick-or-treat. What happened to the old days like when I was a kid, when every house had candy...you could go door to door and get loads of loot?
I did have a moment with one of my neighbors...my son went and knocked, "trick or treat"...his reply, "we don't have any candy". I questioned, "you don't have any candy?" I was probably snooty sounding, but i was irritated. Then he said, "our front porch light is off" and I said, "but your garage is open with the light on and you have a lit pumpkin on your porch". I wanted to tell that fvcker more about what I had on my mind, but I must keep in good with neighbors. I wanted to tell him to get some candy and hand it out...and he should probably worry more about his 6 year old still pooping in his pants than rewarding the dumb kid with trunk-or-treat...but I held back. Trunk-or-treat...you suck...you have turned halloween into a parking lot and taken away the fun of halloween...like the possibility of tainted candy. Damn you trunk or treat. Rant over.

 I told the pikey kids to fvck off too, my throat hurts from all the shouting ive done tonight. Heres one asshole who didnt get the idea.

I'm so sorry hanna - that sucks, if I were you, i would of told him to bite your ass, and a nice ass at that!
 - ba hum bug halloween **** head!  we had fun, no bullies here! we went around to the neighborhoods, the benefit of being on base & to the community center for a carnival.

my neighborhood had zero kids in it
honostly though all the candy LOOT is in the neigborhoods where the house are fairly close to one another .... other good spot are the townhouse areasthe richer the neighborhood=the less the loot is.....like mine but then again allt he kids in my neighborhood are all grown up no one has really moved out and most have been living their for ages

Thats strange, never heard of this trick or trunk thing. However, i notice every year theres less and less kids that come around. Ive got candy left over again.

i'm sure the decrease in kids trick or treating is a result of the increase awareness of child molestors/sex offenders.

Hanna you are having a rought day! Around where I live, everyone seems to "truck" there kids into neighborhoods that actively support Halloween. A lot of retirees here in Fl. so many neighborhoods have several houses all decorated. Then you have neighborhoods as you describe. All the neighbors set out a huge bunch of tables in the front yard of someone's house and that's it.

I remeber the good years when I would come back from owning my neighborhoods out of candy. I remeber one year I came home with 20lbs of candy, like 4 bags full. I had that sh*t on lockdown

My gym owner said he was giving away free samples of his "snake oil" products. Phea! Another nail in his coffin for me. Can't wait until taxes are done and I join a real gym!

Where's the fun in Halloween? My neighborhood isn't like that, and this year there were tons of kids out, and surpisingly, not a lot of delinquent teens with eggs and shaving cream. (then again, I was home before 6:30pm, so maybe they came out after that). One house gave out toothbrushes to all the kids. Kids were pissed. I thought it was funny. My son is crazy. All the kids will be running to the next house and there's my boy having conversations with the homeowners...just chatting. Sometimes he tries to bargain with them, if he didn't like what he got, he tries to trade it in for something else. I have to constantly remind him that you're not supposed to do that.
