Ok ..so its monday. All pumped up for a great work out.

Set #1 bench press........I notice the rack needs to be adjusted, cause I gotta extend my arms too far to lift the bb. Take the bb off to adjust the height ....but the twisty knob wasn't twisted tight so when I pulled the pin out the damn thing came sliding dowm in an instant. BAM OUCH! I continue to do my thing get it all set up for the next set, but it was stinging. when I took my glove off here's what I found ...........







where the red is is were the glove ripped off the skin down my hand. My knuckle is black n blue. And My ego is bruised.
really burns my arse too cause my grip is basically out the window
I went ahead ..but did everything on machines that required nothing I needed to hold on to.

try sticking it in salt water, when ever i get cut, if i go in the sea on holiday it always heels way quicker.

i rally need to figure out how to keep up in the gym Im definately not going to to grip much. chest was ok I used machines were I could push with the heel on my hand but how in the world do I manage back?

Not to be a winer but its actually worse than it looks. IT hurts ...I want my mommy!

Im gonna soak it for a lil while. I may need a couple stitches the ouwie closest to my pionter finger

Sorry KT but machines do tend to bite every now and then! Hopefully you will heal soon and the pain will allow you to lift. Not sure how you will handle back unless you have those hooks! At least you could use those until the pain subsides. Just a suggestion.

I remember in school one of the starting cornerbacks for the football team was carrying two 10's in each hand and dropped them on some dudes barefoot. Crushed his big toe all to hell and back.

Imma big baby! In soaking it tho the skin was tucked underneith itself so no stitches.

Maybe Ill act like the other girls for a week and do all the fluffy classes...........Maybe they'll have an extra chair for me in the seniors class.

I can't see the pick but I too fvcked up my hand the other day in the gym. It was leg day and I was putting on the 100 lb. plates. I took one off the bottom rail only for it to slip out of my hand and fall against the rail with the tip of my left middle finger inbetween. It hurt like hell and bled for the rest of the workout. It's been a few days and it's still really tendor to the touch. Surprisingly, the fingernail hasn't fallin off.

it's is a pain in the hind end, Ill tell ya! It bled out alot during the night, now its kinda stiff. Id love to use it as an excuse not to go workout (really its cold and I dont wanna ride my bicycle) BUT>>>> Legs today so workout as usual. And all the crap I ate over the weekend I gotta ride the bike.

When the ole man got home he was like "holy crap honey, you dont get hurt often but when you do, you really do it" He musta hit my freakin hand a million times...like a sun burn everyone wants to pat you on the back.
