Default I feel so violated!
I went to the grocery store with almost half a tank of gas and came out, my gas cap is off and I am on E. Some jerko stole my gas. I called the police, but by the time they showed up the suspect was gone.

I was going to wait to get gas until tomorrow, then this little turd messed it all up.

The car the suspect was rumaging through was an employees car, so I have an inkling it is the employee doing it or the employee's car was being rumaged through by the said gas stealer. Everyone needs gas, right? I hope he goes to do it again and gets a belly full of gas then lights a cigarette.

Hanna if you didn't have bad luck you wouldn't have any luck at all! Siphoning gas is not an easy thing to do now adays. With the Fords that I work on we try and siphon gas out of the tanks before dropping them to replace a fuel pump but it usually doesn't work. The have put valves inline to prevent this from happening and prevent the fuel from sloshing out of the tank if the cap is left off. If we have to drain the tank before removal we usually jump out the fuel pump and pump the fuel out if possible or remove the nozzel from the tank neck and siphon it out through there and if all else fails take a gas bath. Yours is the unlucky one I guess.

If you buy a aftermarket locking fuel cap watch what you buy, some of them will not seal the system and cause the check engine light to come on.

Damn the bad luck. Hope they catch them

I'm not joking. My tank was on E when I came out and my cap in the hole, but not screwed in...like he siphoned and left in a hurry. I thought it was hard to siphon gas. I think I need a new car now...haha.

It is kind of funny, but if I were broke and had no money for gas to get home...it would not have been funny at all.

im sorry to hear this but it is quite funny.

What are gas prices where everyone is living? we are 1.96 here right now. i believe it is the lowest in the nation or was.

Will prices continue to drop until the holidays when i suspect they will go up.

I really can't picture anyone doing that here though.

The gas prices here went down a lot.
I saw $2.45 for regular today, but right across the street it was $2.55.
