If you're a freelance graphics man who works with high resolution graphics, you need all the space you can muster .

I must say though, the more space you have, the messier your machine gets before you decide to do a clean up.

we are going to upgrade soon....husband is in the process of stockpiling parts.

still have CRT monitor...it works, when it doesn't will get a flat screen.

I think our pc is 2.4 ghz

not sure how much ram, but enough

and so many gigabytes of hard drives...it is not even funny and every bit almost used. I think we have 4 200 gig 7200 rpm hard drives.

4 dvd burners

hub wants to build one of those pcs that go in the little box...right now our pc is in a server tower case thing.

the laptop is a toshiba...it has core duo processor (is that right?) and not enough ram...have to upgrade. It was a steal at 549.00 with 300 in instant rebates...woot. it works for what we use it for.

Well I rip images of games onto my computer so they run faster and without copyright protection. Plus I keep backups of stuff, ect ect, I have about 300gb filled up. Plus I have a **** ton of music and music videos.

I do too, but I often need to make copies of them and it takes less time to burn from the hd, then copy the disc to the hd and then burn it.

No, not for what I use it for. Im not a gamer, video, or music buff so I dont need the latest, fastest, and greatest.

Most of my time on my computer is on-line and checking email. I have cable modem so Im fast there.
