When is the last time you deleted your cookies?
try this click start and then run. Type in MSCONFIG. On the general tab, click selective startup. Below that uncheck the line that says load startup items. Then reboot. Your pc will run faster.

![]() it'll prevent programs that you have installed knowingly or unknowingly from booting with windows. Just do it as a test to see if your computer runs faster. If it does, then you either have a lot of programs running in the background(look at your task bar by your clock...how many little icons are there) or possibly spy ware. Or a program is corrupted and should be removed or reinstalled. You can see all of your startup programs by clicking on the startup tab in msconfig. This doesnt include services or programs that are run from certain keys in the registery, but its a great start, and a good bet as to your problem.
