Default How long does it take you to get ready?
I heard on the radio this morning, the complaints from men, that women take too long to get ready to go out. One guy called in and said that he has to give his GF 4 hours to get ready....

I usually take about 45 min - 1 hour, this includes: shower, shave, babyoil on my body, lotion, makeup, dry/straighten my hair/ and get dressed.

I don't think thats too bad and I don't like to be late.

I don't think that's bad either...
Takes me a half hour tops.

BUT...I just take a shower, shave, put on lotion/deoderant, brush my teeth, and maybe turn my head upside down to blow dry it for a few seconds.
Nothing else, I don't think.

Woops, forgot about getting dressed.

Yeah that is a big time pet peave, you girls take forever...
Well ok Jenny is cool at 30 minutes, any more and its a pain.
But hey, we do like you looking so good, so it's something us men just have to deal with.


I myself take 10 minutes and that includes my shower.
I get up every day at 6:45 AM and I am out the door by 7:00 AM
And I wouldnt have any other way

If I wake up later and don't have time to cook, I'm out the door in 10 minutes max. Most of that is putting my contacts in and taking a shower. If I make myself food I can be done in 45 minutes (It's hard to down waffles, sausage, and a half dozen eggs any faster than that!)

For me, the longest part of getting ready is putting my clothes on.
I have to make sure the shoes look good with the jeans, and the top hits at just the right spot with the jeans, and the shoes and the top go together ok.....etc.
If not, then I just have to change all over again until I get the ensemble correct.

But if its an outfit that I'm familiar with, or if I don't give a damn, then I'm out the door whammo!
