Default Any of you play paintball?

Tell me about it. Is it really fun? Does getting shot hurt?

It's great fun. I've done it a few times - it hurts getting hit with frozen paintballs!

its a lot of fun if you have a good number of people...i used to play a lot 2 years back and then it died out...as far as getting hit it only hurts in certain spots...neck, knuckles, under the arms hurts some...but other than that its just an incovenience really...and as for frozen paintballs if you go to an actual operated place to play (compared to your back yard) they usually make you use their paintballs to avoid people freezing them...

I have played it several times and on several different types of "fields". I love playing outside with natural barriers and barricades (concrete tubes, walls, brush piles, trees, etc). Inside or warehouse games are great too. Most shops that I have I been to will check your ammo and test the speed of the exiting ball from each weapon. Most ranges have an upper limit for safety. If you play against a team or group of friends that have made a team, pranks like frozen paint balls, stincky paint balls, (pepper balls for us in L.Enforcement) are bound to pop up. I have 2 friends in my gym that actually get paid, by sponsers, to play paintball! I almost died when I learned the actually make some money playing!

I have a friend thats a professional. He travels the world, hes in magazines, etc...he said its funny cause when he goes to certain european countries he gets mobbed like a rockstar. I cant remember what name he goes by. Anyhow, he makes a little money at it but not enough to live fat on. When hes not doing that hes on a framing crew and builds residental homes.
