hey guys does anyone know how to turn off "autocomplete"?
I need to stop my computer from displaying the name of sites when you type in an address in internet explorer...


any help much appreciated, Alex

When you are in Internet Explorer, click on tools, then click on the advanced tab, scroll down there until you see the "use inline auto complete" function and make sure that button is unmarked. This should turn it off.

you have to turn the option off and clear auto-complete history.
