Mrbobcat has a spectacular aura about
Default leaky air conditioner

My window air conditioner leaked onto the floor again. It's in a second story window and it did it a couple times before. I did'nt think it was doing it long, because there was just a little water spot on the rug, but it had been running along the wall for a couple feet. I tried to soak it up as best I could, but hope it does'nt get moldy. Any ideas what I could use to soak it up better? Maybe cat litter or something? I also went out on the roof, but coul'nt find a drain hole. I did'nt see water coming out of it. I think it just goes over the edge, so I tipped it back a little more. The a/c is about 9-10 years old, so maybe I should get a new one? I don't need any more water problems as I think my tub may have a leak too and there is no way to check without cutting a hole in the ceiling or wall...

I'm just waiting for the day that you post that your whole house has collapsed around you.... .

Seriously though, If you have or know anyone that has a portable dehumidifier, it should take the moisture out of the floor in a day or two.

If that's not possible, dry it up as best you can & get a heater going in the room.
