Nipple Piercings - topic not crude - advice needed

I have seen a lot of body builders with nipple piercings so I am looking for advice. Pros and Cons.

My birthday is next week and I pretty sure I am going to do it but I am getting mixed reviews. I know this is a body building forum and not a body mutilation forum, but... any advice is welcome

Nipple pierceings are kinda cool, a buddy of mine had them (big big guy 245 solid) and it looked cool. I think its kinda person specific on how it will look- kinda has to match up the personality. Also you probably should have posted this in the "General chat" or "Dump" section, just FYI. If you do it good luck!

I dont think men 'should' have piercings especially on their nipples, thats just my opinion though

I agree this is a personal decision. I was never 'big' enough to pull of any piercing, let alone a nipple piercing. In my day, most of the people that had that done were homosexual. That has changed over the past 20 or so years especially with 'body art' becoming much more mainstream. My personal opinion, and this covers Tattoos, is: If God did not give it to me, or I did not get by an accident, I don't have it. No tatts or piercings!

i had one for 8 years

pros: none other than looks and every girl wanted to see it.... if you happen to have a good chest your in for some extra attention too lol

cons: hurts like a mofo when you get it done, took ages to heal and now i've taken it out i'm left with two holes on the nip

dont get it done IMO

also had an eyebrow piercing at one stage, that lasted all of 2 weeks as i was putting on a motorcycle helmet every day

I got mine done for a car rally in high-school. So I just had it in for a few hours. It hurts more for guys than girls because males have more nerve endings in their nipples. For me it is hit or miss, depends on the girl and depends on the nipple.

Ok at one point i had as follows.....

both my nibbles, 2 in eyebrows, 2 in my lips, 9 in left ear, 6 in right, and a curved barbell in either side of my traps =D

Now i wasnt all cut up, but ill tell you something with my tattoo on my stomach, them headbanger grils couldnt leave me alone =D


I think surface piercings, own, and if you want them GET THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I only have ear piercings (ie for earrings). I have 8 of those ( 4 on each ear). I had those done in my teenage years and now I no longer wear earrings. I would only contemplate a navel piercing if ever I wanted another but first I need to my abs showing. I cannot imagine having my nipples pierced. I may die!

I used to have metal sticking out all over the place, people would joke that I looked like a walking fishermans tackle box! (it helped that the girl doing all my piercing had huge boobs and they were always in my face when I was getting a new one - I'm not sure if I was addicted to getting pierced or those great boobs....lol)
The good thing about piercings is that you can always take 'em out whenever you want!

My GF has one in her right nipple...She said that it didn't hurt at all. She has 8 in her ears and they hurt much worse. She had the nip piercing done by a professional. Hers was done correctly...She had no bleeding/ no pain...It got really "hot" for a day and then was fine. If you turn it daily and wash regularly it heals really quickly. She was swimming in the ocean the very next day. No pain even with the salt and sand...

My sister has about a million piercings...Too many to mention. The only one that really made me cringe was the one that just went through the skin on her forearm...Eeewww...

I don't have any...Just don't want em' really...Definitely not in my nips! I would cry like a little girl! Women are supposed to have tough nipples for breast feeding so that it shouldn't hurt too bad. If they are sensitive during sex that should be a pretty good indicator of how much they would hurt if pierced...

alright - i've made a decision - i'm doin' it!

the way i see it - i want to do it! so i'm gonna! i haven't heard any horror stories except for pain and infection and i can handle that. i'm not wimpy

if i change my mind later about what i like - i can take them out then

i'm feeling pretty damn invincible at the moment, and you dont get to see them - (yet... we'll see if they get a thread or not) but i may cry like a little girl when i walk into the piercing studio - we'll see.

I love dall my piercings, im actually goin to get my traps redone in a few weeks, they dont heal qucik cause when you lift you strecth them but it still looks awesome
