baseball is a glorious beacon of light
Default Barry Effin Bonds

Who thinks Barry was/wasnt on juice? I personally think he was. i think its 13 games without a homerun so far this season? his swing is noticably slower, and his contact this year isnt as solid. these are signs of dropping roids, just like the symptoms jason giambi experienced when he stopped using them. what do yall think? did barry juice or not?

There is no doubt in my mind he was, but then again there's no doubt in my mind that there's a lot more use of performance enhancing substances being used in baseball than people want to believe.

GH and IGF-1 don't show up on a whiz quiz. Test base can be combined with epitest and made undetectable if used at a moderate dose. There's no doubt in my mind that there's some designer drugs floating around that were dredged up from the dusty pages of Vida. Aside from all these there's also things like carnosine.

If you were to test everyone in major league baseball at once and then do it again a month later I guarantee you would have a sh!t-ton of players sitting on the bench. I'm not just talking about the guys making the big plays like Bonds, I'm talking about average players as well.

Personally I think they should allow the responsible use of gear among professional athletes. Think about it, how often do you hear the athletes complaing about a "drug problem?" Next to never, it's almost always the Monday morning umpires or the baseball card collectors, or the people with something to gain from sensationalizing the drug use *cough*politicians & sports writers*cough.*
