Well, they don't sell the Skline in the states, and you have to have it shipped from over seas, and plus you have to put emissions on it. When it's all sais and done you have bought a $35,000 car, and then spent $35,000 to get it street legal and imported from, usually, australia. It's not worth the hassle, plus there is supposedly like 45 Skyline GTR 34's in the U.S.

TM, how is that 67 cobra treating you. Is it the Mustang Cobra GT 350/500, or the Shelby Cobra. Either one are the sweetest cars of that age, and still are some of the gratest cars ever. congrats to that.

Shelby it is. It's the sweetest car I have ever had. Nothing like driving down the road rumbling and tripping car alarms. LOL. It was owned by my dad and I bought it from him when I was 19 and finally got it running in '02...frame off restore...not very many runnin' around...

The Skylines are around. A company in the LA area, if I remember right, imports them and gets all the smog and safety issues taken care of. All you do is buy the car like you would at a dealership.

You guys got some cheap ass fuel over in the states, so i guess its ok to have these anti-green-peace wagons. We gotta be economical about this sh*t over in the uk and think before we buy cars. I mean at the moment per litre of petrol is on average about 89pence which is about 1.5$ and diesel's at 95pence a litre which is like 1.6$. Then ontop of that you got your road tax (£60-£100/ 6months), insurance(whatever that is, £2,500/year for me), MOT (£25 every so often), its crazy!

Default Yeah baby!

I have a 1975 Datsun 280Z. Cherry red with black interior. It is in mint condition and will be going up for sale very soon. If anyone is interested PM me. I have pics. It has just over 100K original miles and a recent rebuild about 6K ago. I would love to keep it but I need four seats.
