I know this has nothing to do with BB, but I am putting out a call for good thoughts and prayers - my Dad is going in for heart surgery.

You got both of mine too. How serious is it? I know all heart surgery is serious but is it of the complicated variety?

He has an Aortic aneurysm @ 5.2mm. They will go in cut it out - put a shunt in - stich the ends together - and put band over the stiching. I've seen this done lots of times....... just not to my Dad.

I wish I could say that I will say a prayer for your dad but I can't. But I have nothing but the best thoughts going out to him. He will be fine, after all he made it this far.

Thank you everybody!!!!! Dad is awake and doing good so far. The rest is up to him and how fast he wants to recover.......Hopefully very quickly hehehe before he drives the Nurses nuts and me along with them LOL
