Default iPod nano?

hey everyone,

i need some opinions on a new MP3 player....my current one is seeing its last days! i value physical size, battery life and do not need many gigs....1GB should be more than enough.

does anyone have the iPod nano? any other recommendations?

thanks

Hey Man

I had an IPOD Nano and took it back , I wasn't at all happy with the quality of the sound, you could be far better off with a Sony Net MD Minidisc player or something of the sort with the Ipod you are just paying for the Name.

I was at the Mac store the other day, and I was checking out the new IPOD VIDEO...that thing is AWESOME! A little on the expensive site, but it was pretty damn cool...Contemplating on getting one...

The IPOD NANO is pretty cool, although I've heard the screen breaks easily...My friend has one and no complaints as of yet...

I have the IPOD mini, still use and love it, works wonders in the gym...

You might considering getting a refurb, much cheaper and you buy direct from Mac here is the link, good luck! (They have a mini for $59 buck!!!)

I've had a Nano since christmas. I like it pretty well, but then again it's my only Mp3 player I've ever had so I don't have much to compare it to.....

Zen nanos are better. hold 1 gig. my girl got me one for christmas - sound is superb. and it runs on one AAA battery. my sister bought an ipod nano and took it back. the zen micros are nice too, little more pricey.

I actually purchased a Nano last weekend. So far so good. The only thing that I've noticed is that I have a bit of trouble adjusting the volume as it is a touchpad-type control. Other than that I like it. I think the sound quality is good and it is very easy to get songs on and off of the Nano.

The Iaudio U2 is about the size of lighter, has gig of memory and sounds great. It also doubles as a zip drive, radio and voice recorder. Only prob is the supplied headphones suck.. they sound good but just kill your ears. I bought a cheap pair of sony buds and they're great.

I've heard that the Creative Zen Micro is also a good choice

If you don't mind not having a screne then the ipod shuffle would be the way to go. They have a longer battery life than the nano, can hold 1 gig and are very durable. I got mine for $170 cdn or you could get the 512 MB for 130.

A friends got a nano and has no complaints. If you want the screne and don't mind paying extra in my opinion it would be the way to go. The black looks sweet but you need a case because it scratches real easy.

i like the ipod nano a lot, i think it's very easy to use and the design is nice and sleek. But the price is horrible, also if u want to get it, you have to buy a good cover for it, which could cost around 20 bux or so, and a better headphone becaues the one they give u, sound quality isnt the best. I have no problem with mine, no scratches because the cover i bought is good. U might want to consider other brands than apples. They might not be as stylish but much cheaper and more practical with things like 2 headphone jacks or built in speakers.
