well as you all know, I am a "mormon", and you also all know that we are notorious for our missionaries.
anyways, i got my mission call yesterday, i have been called to serve in Osorno, Chile. It is the southernmost mission in the world, very close to antarctica. The mission covers from osorno, to the straight of magellan. I will be learning the castillano dialect of spanish, and will serve for a period of 24 months. I leave on April 5th to the missionary training center here in Provo, Utah (on the BYU campus). I am excited to share my faith and testimony of Jesus Christ as our saviour to the Chilean people. just thought i would share.

i took 4 years of spanish in high school. I can speak it fairly well. enough to get my way around if i needed, or chat on a message bord like this. I will come back speaking like a native. The cool thing about it is nobody speaks english except for the missionaries down there. I will most likely forget how to speak english properly. Ill come back sounding like a mexican immigrant.
wait you said your bro went on a mission? are you LDS? or like Jehovah's witness or something? i dont know of other religions that even have organized missionary programs.
