Don't worry it is normal you can even tell her you are nervous, it would be funny. Just don't get attached too quick because it could lead to a heart break. Just take things easy and keep them in prespective.

Yeah, it went pretty good. She even said she was nervous and asked if I was and I said a little. I wanted to give her a kiss or hug or something when we were at our cars, but my sis said its not a good idea on a first date, so I did'nt. I think I am getting a little attached already. She told me to give her a call if I wanted to do something this weekend, so I guess thats a sign it went ok...

Ahh don't listen to your sis Do what is natural because sooner or later you are going to be yourself around her. My main concern is that emotions are high and developed quick. This usually mean you will overlook defects (sorry I'm a developer) in the relationship because of your feelings. Keep in mind that you both are on the rebound, at least you are so it is easy to get attached. Just be careful emotionally

Her being nervous means she feels same way as you are, good job

Hey guys what would be the best approach to get the divorce going? I think I would feel more at ease to at least have that started before going out this weekend. Plus if the wife sees me or hears I'm out with someone, she might not agree to sign. I got the papers about 2 months ago. I called her to tell her once, but she was nice for a change and I did'nt have the heart to tell her then. Then I was planning on stopping over her house over the holidays. I did a couple times, but she wasn't home. Should I call her and tell her I have the papers, email her, send them in the mail, or just stop by her house or work?

I would call her and talk to her. But in general, you do not need her approval for a divorce.

I did'nt know you could get a divorce without one party agreeing to sign. Anyway, I finally called her and she said she did'nt care what I do, so I said I'd set up an appointment with the lawyer and she said fine. She did'nt sound real happy, but its been almost 2 years since she wanted to file and I did'nt answer her and she has'nt tried to contact me except for an occasional email. The last time was christmas, she wanted me to go to church to watch her sing. Maybe I should have gone and did'nt try to work it out very much, but I just can't see us getting back together...
