Alright...
I know this must be posted at least once a month, but hi. I'm a complete new gal to the sport and have absolutely NO idea where to begin. At all. I apologize if I carry on or sound a bit naive, but here goes. I'm a 22 y.o senior in college, looking for the next big change in my life. I was a varsity wrestler in high school, and played rugby for two years here at the university. All my life I've been told by either family or friends that my athletic adventures are ridiculous, to stay "feminine", and stop trying to become something I'll never be good at. Throughout it all, lifting has always brought me something I can't explain. At 5'5'', and an average of 125lbs I never thought bodybuilding was something I could do. After years of waiting...I want to try. The problem: I know nothing about it, besides some articles I've read. I have no support as of yet...so here I am. Where do I start, what do I do....and is it possible....? Thank you all for reading, and I hope to hear from you soon. Aloha! |
