Default just found out i'm pregers! can i still do ab workouts?

Hi guys,

long time no hear, I just found out i'm have a bun in the oven.

After six weeks of feeling really lazy, tired, dizzy not in the mood, and totally didnt workout-cardio for a whole week which is so unlike me. I finally dragged myself to the gym today and but decided to take it down a notch coz I wasnt sure what max heart rate i should be looking at being in my predicament.

Haven't gone to the doctor yet coz I'm still on the fence wether to keep or not. But if anyone out there has any thought and advice on what limitaions i should be observing now, please post.

Thanks!

Many ladies who have been pregnant have maintained "normal" workout routines all through their pregnancy. Maybe not as intense or as heavy as what they would be doing if they were not pregnant. I am guessing that Hawkwind might be able to give you some sage advice.

Absolutely. You can still train. Just pay close attention to your body. Ab work can usually be done carefully for a few months at least. That all depends on how soon you develop your 'baby-bump'

Just take it easy, pregnancy is not the time to be pushing hard, but exercise will help keep you fit.

Any spotting or cramping stop and take it easy.

how do you know you aren't injuring the baby or squishing it? Is there a time in your pregnancy that you should stop?
