Any Advice for Workouts/diets for woman over 50?
My mother is 52 years old and she seems to have a few problems when it comes to exercise and loosing weight. And because Im running out of ideas for her, I was hoping someone here could help us out!
My mom is not trying to loose alot of weight, her main goal is to lose about 10 pounds (but I personally think she needs to lose at least 15) She would like to shape out her arms and her stomach (2 area's most women want looking good) Her legs are pretty nice already, but I would like to have her doing a full body workout instead of just focusing on two parts of her body.
So here is the issue... my mom works a fulltime job and barely has time to workout and she will not come to the gym with me. We dont have much equipment at home.. only a treadmill, a few weights, some stupid workout videos, and of course stupid ab blaster type things from infomercials!
My question is.. is there any diet and routine my mom could go on that would help her out in the situation of not having enough time to go to the gym? She enjoys working out at home and she is great at sticking to diets, so Im hoping there might be something out there that might suit her needs a bit better than what I want her to do.
Any advice?
