Often people say that they shouldn't because they will end up looking like a man. This is wrong. They will look more muscular for sure but never like a men. A "natural" muscular woman is so sexy. So I say yes they should do the same training has men. Also the best way to lose weight is to combine strength training, cardio and good diet. I think that’s why most of the diet out there failed. They miss the strength part which leads to slower metabolism and weight gain in the end.

Since the first of the year it's been crappy.

YES YES YES. Weight training all the way. Without the weights she'll lose weight but just look flat with no tone or shape to the muscle. Heavier the better. Obviously she'll have to work her way up there.
One of my biggest peeves. "cardio only girls" I'm right in the section with the guys but obviously dont lift as heavy as they do. |

I'm sure if I worked at it, I could get rather large traps for a girl. Some women can add mass fairly easily.
