yes, that's why I don't do shrugs. I never said mine could get huge like a mans can, however I know they will get bigger than I like them to get if I focus specifically on them. So since I already do deads, then there is no need to do shrugs in addition because my traps have already been worked through deads.

I doubt that you really know me enough to tell me what my body can do anyway.

Its hard for women to put on alot of mass as theyre lacking the key ingredient for muscle building, Testosterone. Well they have a little but just enough to keep the appropriate amount of lean muscle for a female not enuff to get huge naturally. Thats the majority anyhow, everyones gonna be a little different.

I agree - large traps on a woman would just be "odd".

As for what exercises, it kinda depends on what kind of woman you are training and how much experience she has. At a Gold's I once saw a young trainer trying to teach an old lady (upper 60s or higher) how to do clean and press. It was out of control. I personally wouldn't start them off with anything too crazy right away if they are new to this.

I add muscle fairly easily, and I'm on the fence as to whether a girl should lift like a guy.
Don't get me wrong...I pretty much lift like a guy...hahaha....but that doesn't mean that every girl should IMO. It depends on the look she's going for.
I think that alot of people wouldn't like my look....heck, I don't like it half the time. So, if you're a female that's just looking to lean out, and have a little bit of muscle definition, then I don't think it's necessary to lift like a guy.
I do think that weights are a must, but lifting like a guy is not.
There are plenty of exercises with weights that a female can do that would be nowhere near considered "lifting like a guy".
That's just my two cents.

Ouch, you need a spa day. I have time for my hair every day, but I get up way before crack of dawn and I only have 1 child. I feel for you girl.. we are here for when you need to vent.

ya see i think I'm the opposite...it takes me longer to put on the mass and size...lol then again i dont think i know my body 100% yet though...i guess it will take a bit more experience... i have to lift heavy a$$ to see anything..LOL okay my b/f is a bit higher..okay i'll shut up...

That used to be my wife's biggest complaint...it really affected the realtionship

You have to find some YOU time...Just make the husband be Mom every now and again and go take a breather and get some YOU time.

Or just come here and take it all out on us guys

I think that is mostly every woman's major complaint. I never really had a major problem with that because I just found the time whether it be staying up later, getting up earlier to get things done , such as my hair, working out, or whatever.

Part of the problem isn't so much that you will always need the time for yourself or even use it if you have it, but just the fact they the man can be considerate enough to give a woman that choice and offer it.

Wherever I go, Kaila goes. She always wants to be with me, but when we are home, she has Daddy be her slave!

Lately, she is giving me some alone time to get out and she will stay home with Daddy and Guess what??? I miss having her around
