You need to get your diet worked out. That is the main issue with getting abs to show. Then just start doing some basic abdominal exercises like situps, crunches, leg raises etc. You don't have too far to go so you should see some pretty good results if you stick to a solid routine for a few months.

okay this is another thing I have in my head that may or may not be true, so I'm gonna ask - when women lose weight, do they lose their boobs too? I would've thought so 'cos aren't they made of a fatty tissue?

your body goes into a sort of starvation mode.... it thinks that your next meal is going to be far apart too it will hold onto and store what you next eat as fat.
eating 4 small meals a day is a great to lose weight. breakfast <---- vital to get the metabolism started early lunch dinner pm snack
