Question about BC..

My girlfriend is going to be starting a new form of BC. Its the "ring" that i guess stays inside for 24 days? Just curious if anyone has used this as she trying to lose weight and i hear with a lot of bc you actually gain?

They are excellent. My GF started using one a month or two ago and it has really cleared up alot of the sides she was experiencing with other forms of birth control. (the pill and the patch make her really nauseous)

I used the ring just for one month, back in october.

I'm not a huge fan of hormonal contreceptives because they just seem to not agree with me. It's a personal choice (unfortunately because condoms suck!). The advantage to the ring is that because it's transdermal and not oral, it bypasses the liver. Also i've heard many women experience less sides. I found i blew up like a balloon! LOL but it had been years since i've been on BC, so re-introducing it out of no where could have been part of the issue. I only used it for the one month. You can't feel it or anything, and nor can the guy (at least that's what i was told LOL).
