Default Looking for help creating a training program

Hey, just new to the forum, my boyfriend told me about this site and thought it could help me a little.
I"m looking to create a training program for myself to basically just tone, define and slim down a little more. Not really sure where to start. What I'm really trying to achieve is:
*slimming inner and outer thighs
*toning and defining abs
*just overall toning for my whole body
*increase bust "if possible"!!

I'm going to read through the forums to try and get as much info as I can, but aslo if anyone has any suggestions and would like to help me out I would really appreciate it!

Thanks!

I have actually embarked on my own body adventure too but I bascially prepared my program with help from the trainers in my gym and through heaps and heaps of reading. The only problem is that there is alot of conficting information and it seems to be trial and error with whats best for YOUR body. Diet too will play a major part so expect to make that change in order to get results.

Do you plan to join a gym?

Hey applecorr, welcome to the forum.

I think you jusst described what 99.99999999999% of the women on the planet want to achieve in their fitness goals. lol

You will find alot of training ideas around this neighborhood.
Start reading .............then after that read somemore. Seriously, alot of the girls post thheir routines and share their experiences.

Sandy's hit the nail on the head when she said your diet will play a major roll. Personally I believe it should come first on your list. Try to avoid fad diets as most of them can have damaging effects to you body, and believe it or not your mind. As your body operates like a machine. Just like a car, if you dont give it fuel it will not run. If there is no oil in it the engine will blow up. Get my drift.

You will find a very supportive enviroment here. Even motivating on the discouraging days. I wish you the very best of luck in achieving your goals.

jiujitsugirl has a spectacular aura about
Default diet & train

I really agree with the two other posts...if I were going strictly for cosmetic improvements, I would jog everyday before breakfast...trying to hit a few all out high points in there....also, for me, and this is non traditional, I sometimes do 2 hour long cardio workouts when I'm cutting fat (I know I know it's not body building but it really works for me so that's my body so what? I mean, you can really get efficient results, but I would recommend it long term-- I would only do the 2 cardio workouts (one in the morning and one at night) once or twice a week maximum. Most of the time, just jog/run before breakfast and don't worry about the second workout...

For weight training, any basic training program that you can handle is good. Pick some basic moves and train 3 times a week....maybe you want to do a chest/tricep day, a back and bicep day, and a legs/shoulder abs day. Or whatever works for you....there's infinite variety in weight training and there is a bodybuilding website that will create routines for you out there...

Then for food, at first, just don't eat crap. Stay away from high calorie foods that are sneaky...a dab of peanut butter goes a long long way...a handful of nuts is one thing and two handfuls is a recipe for cellulite. Try to eat an enormous salad before you eat anything else when you are ravenous, and use low cal dressing because if you go over on high cal dressing, you'll be eating a candy bars worth of calories. Spinach is an amazing food...find a way to make it chow worthy.

For me, I had to start to weigh, measure food and write down calories because I just wasn't being honest with myself. I was shocked by how much I was eating and I'm amazed I wasn't really big....(but I do workout a lot) But for most people, I think just staying away from high fat or high sugar foods will do. If you give up all sugar (especailly that corn syrup) for 12 weeks, I bet you get mad results. I'm personally totally incapable of this, but I hear it works wonders.

Protein. You need this. Try to get some in every meal.

Bill Phillips eating program, body for life, is excellent, but I don't personally like his training program....

Okay, off to the gym. Be well and don't give up!!! PM me if you want!
