what do you girls use on your skin? specifically moisturizers?

I was never the type to spend hundreds of $ of skin care..i was always okay and never looked my age...lol

But lately I'm looking really old...its depressing...i'm scared of wrinkles..lol

Any ideas?

I use a good 3 in 1 cleanser but I think I need a good moisturizer...??

I use Oil of Olay also, but the daily mosterizer with spf 15. I've been using it for about 3-4 years and I think it really helps!

Default Sounds weird but try it

The best thing I've tried so far is Bragg's vinager "with the mother." Use a cotton ball and just a little then wash your face in an hour. Do it a few times a week. It makes your skin glow and has an acidic base that exfoilates fine lines. Moisturize with a bit of 100% jojoba oil. A natural healer told me about this a few years ago and it has been great.

I am not a girl, but the 24hr moisture from St Ives is awesome...it has hydratein in it and really does last all day or night. I love it and that is saying alot because I generally hate lotion because of the greasiness...

/\ If you have that problem you need to make sure that the lotion is "noncomedeogenic" which is a fancy word for "won't cause pores to clog and your skin to break out".

I'm one of those gullible infomercial and pop-up ad believers....

I ordered this stuff called Strivectin SD...or "Better than Botox". It cost 60 bucks for a 6oz tube of it.
It was originally created to repair stretch marks, but then they found out that it was supposed to be some miracle anti aging, wrinkle reducing cream.

Not that I have wrinkles, but I always thought that it's better to prevent them before they happen....well, I don't really notice anything different at all with my skin.
I think I've been taken for a ride...LOL.
Then again, I think you're supposed to apply it 3 times a day, and I only do it once or twice.
Oh well...

I also do a microdermabrasion to my face every 2 weeks. I love the way it makes my skin feel afterwards.

HaHaHa...
But, you're actually right.
Before I started to do the microdermabrasion, I used to do the apricot scrub.

i love clinique moisturizers and their entire skin care line. I also love their firming lift cream (if I do half my face and leave the other side without you can totally tell a difference, the side that has the cream on just looks revitalized)....moisturizing is the number one factor in preventing premature aging. It can get expensive, but well worth it.

I sound like their spokesperson...I love all their products...my husband hates all of them, cause it can get pricey.

Okay, that's is so cool. What is this "with the mother?" Do you mean the apple cider vinegar?

I used to use clinique about 10 years ago...is it still the same? I did like the moisturizer? Is it still yellow in the small glass bottle? Yes I guess it can get expensive...

I never used drugstore products though...i guess being in the hair industry i was always used to using professional products...even though i see some of what used to be "just sold in salons" is now being sold at the drugstores now.. it really makes me wonder if its the same stuff??

Yes, Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar "with the mother" is a term associated with how it was distilled. It has acidity to it. People started drinking it with the vinegar diet but in this case you put it on your face. (Braggs also makes liquid amino soy sauce) It works like a glycolic acid without the few days of actual peeling and redness. The jojoba oil is great for people that break out easily and it smooths fine lines, plus it gives you a that glow that young skin has. I won't go into how bad my skin was but I spent a fortune at dermotogists offices and on expensive cosmetics. Finally, a natural doctor asked me to try it for a month. I actually get compliments on my skin which is something I never thought could happen. Costs me about $12 every 6 months, if that.

anything with Pro-retinol A reduces fine lines and wrinkles the best. I've read that from doctors, and I use ROC's retinol correction eye cream. It doesn't irritate my skin, but really works. I'm almost 36, and got a few under-eye wrinkles from the sun. Now they're barely visible.
drugstore.com has some good products you can't find at local stores.
