I guess the best medicine you can give your skin is what you eat!

I did that before. Got some pretty bad acne for about a week. A little too oily for my skin. If you have dry skin though, it might be okay. Can't hurt to try right? Jojoba is better for oily skin and works nice under make up if you wear it. It is good on the ends of your hair after blowdrying too but use sparingly. Vitamin E however, made my hair gummy. I've tried a lot of things. Wasted a lot of money though. If anyone runs across any natural beauty things to try, let me know!

Natural Professor... Fish oil is good. Especially the kind you take internally. Aloe capsules are nice too.

Bio Oil. I don't fuss much with my skin. Use Dove soap and water to wash then apply the Bio Oil. ONce in a while, I make my own body scrub with olive oil, honey and brown sugar. I must taste sweet after that!

big bump on staying out of the sun for tanning purposes. worst thing you can do for skin...the best thing IMO is to stay hydrated...with what you drink, moisturize from the inside and then moisturize what's exposed to the elements with a nonpore clogging moisturizer. I would be afraid to put oil on my face, it gets oily enough in the summer... I would be afraid of getting zits.

I used to be a big time sun worshiper when i was younger....i really hope i dont get wrinkles from my sun worshiping days...lol

even when i went on vacation i used to get sun stroke cause i would stay in the sun all day long...geez how we regret the things we do when we were young and stupid..lol

However, now i like to get a bit of a glow...i'm afraid to get too much..

so all you young guys/gals listen up from us that have experience....you will regret it later!!! trust me...

Just reading this thread I thought that I'd add that I am a user of Oil of Olay, 15+ sun protection. I use it after every shower. I wash my face with my Dove soap and never real soap. Body wise I just use Vaseline Intensive Care all over after every shower too.

Sun worshiping is an addiction for me. I figure there are worse things.
I do use australian gold spf 30. Which is awesome for someone like me cause it still lets you tan and protects you at the same time. I'm sure my skin is still being effected but I just dont feel lilke I look as good when my skin is pasty white. But at the same time I do take the time to do what I call preventative mainenance. Exfoliating and moisturizing.

what is bio oil?

that is sooo cool about the body scrub...I love honey. One time I was stuck out in Cali with no car and I'd forgotten my face stuff and I washed my face with honey everyday and my skin looke really good...I wonder why I keep forgetting to do that now...I'm gonna go put some honey in the bathroom. I read this thing about how honey capulets can preserve skin for hundreds of years...on mummies or something.

BioOil has been developed with Pur Cellin Oil with the added ingredients of Vitamin A and Vitamin E, Calendula, Lavender and Rosemary oils, and Chamomile extract. The amazing thing is that despite it being an "oil" it's a "dry oil". It is so fine that it gets absorbed into your skin. For anyone wanting to know more here is the USA website: http://www.bio-oil.info/homepage.php

I've made an olive oil scrub before & loved it.

I'm into keeping my skin as young looking & feeling as I can, especially since I turned 30 last year. I use Mary Kay 3 in 1 hydrating loton & it is wonderful. I too used clinique, I actually like Mary Kay better, less oily feeling for me. I also use aveeno face scrub & make up remover, it helps with keeping my skin smooth.

Good luck!
