Default HRT for women w/ Hyst

I need help, suggestions. I had a hyst. at age 29 b'cause of Polycystic Ovarian Disease. Everything was OK for a while, but now I am having more problems than before the Hyst. I have gained weight rapidly and can't get it off, have no energy, no libido, I'm very irritable, dry skin, etc. I followed doctors orders on diet and excercise for several months and have had not lost one pound or had any change in body fat. I have had several blood tests done by gyn/endocrynologist. I have VERY low estrogen/testosterone levels. Have any of you tried HRT with both estrogen/testosterone with any success. If so what was it, what was the dosage, etc.

Thanks for your suggestions

I have been on estra-test for a couple years now after my hysterectomy/oopherectomy. I'm leaving the house shortly and will have to get back to you later today. (I've had great success with my HRT this time around so I will get back to you.)

I am in the middle of reading a very interesting book on female hormones, especially for menopausal women or women with hyst. I got it out at my local library, you may find a copy at yours too. But I am really thinking of buying a copy for myself, it's that good. This is the book - Natural hormone balance for women : look younger, feel stronger, and live life with exuberance / Uzzi Reiss and Martin Zucker.
Hope it helps.
