my BF thingy is on my scale though.....I try not to look but it just sits there and calls me "just one look wont hurt" "sure you lost weight look how much"

giggle giggle I'm being silly....but it really is hard not to 'weigh in' and the BF thingy is really on my scale...I guess I could always put something over the wt part so I can't see it - mmmmmm
I still plan to go through with it at this point.....but I have told friends & family not to come (just in case) I'm soooo bad

I find my motivation in the way I looked and felt before I let myself go. I used to be 3xs stronger and quicker. I was always energetic and ready to go, but I went from working out 6xs a week to pretty much nothing but running around after my 3 year old (even though that is a workout in itself).
I know that I can achieve my goals to get back into shape but it will take some time and commitment. I want to be able to keep up with my daughter for many years to come, so I better start now. I have my old picture of myself on my desktop to remind me of what I am aiming for.

hi and welcome! where in Cuba r u? i was there last October...i miss it...i was in Varedero...i even lifted in the gym at the resort...lol

Not really in CUBA... just from there. I am in NJ. I guess if you are in CANADA it is really easy to get to CUBA. Alot of Canadians I know frequent the land. I myself, have never been there, born in the US... But 100% cuban.
My husband and I would love to visit, but not sure when. Varadero is supposed to be beautiful, so you know more than me...

Default YMCA-childcare

The Y near me (and I think all over the country) has free childcare and I know of more than one mother who was willing to hit the treadmill if it meant here kids were being taken care of by someone else for a couple of hours.

it's by 'Tanita'......the one I have - you program in your height, age and activity level. You have to weigh in with bare feet (naked is better) and not wet (like after swimming or a shower). I have covered the weight part of the screen so it's working out okay - so far.

I have stopped getting on the scale and even stopped checking the BF for the time being. Im sure you guys remeber some of the days I'd get all frustrated. No more.
The funny thing is I feel great. One thing that gets me going is leg day. I love it. I am getting great definition in my thighs and hams. LOVE IT!!!!
Of course dont really care for the three days afer leg day....ouchie wawa.
