what about wearing tight clothing? Right now my tops are feeling tight in the shoulder area...this way i can feel my shoulders growing...its a great feeling..

You wont think about eating that XTRA cookie!

First of all...off topic....Fitme, you look awesome. Nice pic.

OK, this might sound corny, but I am motivated every single time a see a female on tv or wherever that looks hot...(no, I'm not saying hot like I want to get in her pants...but hot).
It makes me want to get up, work out, run, dance, whatever. I want to be hotter than she is...I guess that's vanity talking, huh?
I'm not saying that I am or will be hotter than she is...but I make the effort to be because of that.

Ever see the Farenheit (the fatburner) commercial? That girl's body is super hot in my opinion...just an example of motivation.

By the way...that's not the only thing that motivates me...but when I'm feeling lazy or sluggish, and I need that little push, that's what usually does it.

hey thats like me too....whenever i see someone that i wanna look like or i like how certain body parts look on them...i wanna get to the gym BIG TIME..right then and there and start working on that certain body part....lol

Default If you want it bad enough...

I agree that if you want something bad enough, the steps to get it are worth it. Personally, passing my 63 year old neighbor at 6 am everyday on my way to work as he is doing his daily 5 mile jog, keeps me motivated. There is seperation of those who will and those who won't. If there are others who will, then why not me? Not to mention, there isn't a cookie out there that tastes as good as seeing yourself fit in the mirror.
I do have a quick tip for when things get boring... download a few new workout cd's or get new music. Only allow yourself to hear them when you are working out. Many days I squeeze in something extra just to hear my cd.

print out pics of all the girls you want to look like and post them up all over your bedroom, and fridge.......keep the motivation in sight "so to speak" it helps everytime

Thanks everyone for the tips and ideas......Went out and bought a new swim suit today during my 'lunch' break - had to take it back though....it was to big hehehe
Actually had a pretty good day today......I actually got a compliment from a young lady and she asked me to help her with her lats. Talk about motivation - now I really have to have my game on. I think she is in great shape already and cute too but man what a thrill.........I really have to get out more hehehehe

yea I'm okay by myself to......as for other people - I'm okay there too I seem to always cook.....if I have to cook then it's what I cook good thing I'm good at it (at least that what they say hehehe)

My downfall is always the sweets! If I decide to cheat i usually do it with sweets..but lets not go there! lol

so, how far are you from your goals? what r your goals again? I think i missed that!

So, you're gonna do the competition then?
I have about 7% BF left to meet my goal...the weight is another story. Every time I think I'm losing the pounds - it's just the BF going down. I know I know that is the important thing but I really want to lose the pounds to not just trade the fat for muscle.
As for the competition - for now I'll keep on. I might chicken out though as it gets closer.....I have this little thing with body image issues. But we'll see hehehe

Don't feel too bad HN...You haven't seen any of my pics on here yet have you... I am told I have an excellent body, but I don't like the way I look and am way too embarrassed to post any pics yet (maybe this summer *fingers crossed*). Anyway, if you do a competition you will have my utmost respect and admiration for being able to do that.

Me I'm short and square......a little tank compared to most on here LOL But just think if we thought we had great bodies - would we still work as hard as we do to make them look better?? I know I wouldn't hehehe

My down fall is also pasta so I try to have it for lunch. But I buy whole wheat pasta. And I think it was a great flavor compared to regular.
