Well, I have heard many things about cellulite as well. It will probably go away if you are eating clean and doing cardio consistently, but I dont know if you are going to totally get rid of it. Another thing I have heard is that trans fatty acid deposits are a partial cause of some cellulite buildup (your body has a hard time with them as they aren't natural and tends to store them). I would try to limit them as they may hinder your progress (and they cause cancer and other diseases

Cellulite is actually a dimpling effect of fat caused by the way fat cells lie in or between connective tissue in the body, primarily in the hips, thighs, and buttocks region. Connective tissue extends from the skin to the muscle below. Fat cells, especially when they get bigger, "push up" against the tissue to create the dimpling.
The dimpling effect is less obvious in people who have thicker skin, like men and some women. The thickness of skin is determined by our genes. Skin tends to become thinner with age, and we cannot do anything to change it. Another factor which influences who will show more cellulite is where the body tends to store fat. Women who deposit fat in their hips and thighs tend to have more cellulite than women who store fat around their waists -- again, this falls under the control of your genes. Cellulite is fat, and it seems to be harder to lose than other areas of fat on the body; this may stem from the way fat cells are embedded in connective tissues. To reduce the amount of fat that is absorbed and stored or burned by the body, eat less fat, consume fewer calories, and exercise. I totally copied that from a web site too. LOL But, I second the article. It says what I wanted to say, but better. |

sure.....
a good low fat, balanced, healthy diet, alot of water ...I drink a gallon a day (many trips to the potty since cellutlite is enlarged fat cells...decreasing your bodyfat is important. Also part of the appearance of cellulite is caused by thinner skin. ei the multi-vitamin. Now this part is not clinical....im just a thinker Another contributing factor is circulation..so I also would sit on a heating pad on the backs of my thighs for 15 min a day while I was at the computer. And massage the affected areas whenever I thought about it.
