Default mornin meal+PWO shake Q

recently i've started goin to the gym in the morning and now that i gave my final school schedule (needed to figure out my first class), i can start eating breakfats again rather than jus the PWO shake and out the house. problem is, breakfast is usualy the biggest meal i have calories and protein wise.

PWO: 24g on whey with a banana

6 egg whites+ two whole eggs
cup of oats
glass of milk or OJ depending on my mood
and a fruit on my way to school.

Q: is it a problem if i eat a big meal after my PWO shake?
any help appreciated senk u in advance

Its typically advised you eat 1 hour after your PWO meal. However, if you get proper pre/during workout nutrition, the PWO meal (i.e. just eat breakfast) may not be neccesary so monitor your results and adjust accordingly.

That being said, your plan looks top notch.

i cannot eat an hour before working out in the morning. i'm already insomnomatic so i dont want to make it worst by waking up an extra hour early just to eat lol. when i use to workout at night i was just fine but my adreneline was always high hours after working out which kept me awake. since switching from night to early morning, my sleeping has been slightly better.

thanks for the advice i think i'll try this big breakfast idea for a few weeks and see the results.

I disagree. The post workout meal is probably the most important meal of the day alongside of breakfast.

It sounds like to me "hi Im lucky", that you are making your breakfast your post workout meal.
If this is the case, you need to get up a little early and eat a pre-workout meal. You need some carbs/protein after waking up. I know you are tired but if you are serious about lifting and seeing gains, you need to be somewhat disciplined. Go to bed earlier if you have to.

I say drink the whey shake and have some oatmeal and an apple for your pre-workout meal. You can also substitute the whey for some BCAA's.

I would then eat the big breakfast as your post workout meal. I would also eat 25% of your daily carb intake during your pre-workout meal and 25% during your post workout meal.

Ok, but you still need a complex carb source prior to working out.
