I eat quite alot of them just because there so easy to cook. When your tired and you just need something quick to go with your meal they are easy to do.

They make a good mid day meal. Tons of healthy carbs, good fat, tons of fiber and decent protein. As long as you don't eat them late, the sugar can actually be proactive for your active lifestyle. It will keep you peppy and encourage your metabolism. That doesn't mean downing a bag of candy bars is ok, but some sugar is just fine!

I used to put green-string beans, skin and all into my blender with my shakes with a whole bunch of other stuff.
I got tired of the little "hair-string" from the string beans constantly getting stuck in my teeth from my shake. I still have no idea how the hell those strings didn't get blended to high hell in the blender. |

I tried it based on some big dude (whom I never even had seen before LOL) who claimed the drink was tolerable, actually decent tasting and he'd drink 1-2 every day...APPLES & TUNA
Like a true warrior, I took on the challenge and gladly so, even took pics along the way. So I mixed up 2 granny apples and one can of drained Tuna and added in 12 ounces of water and proceeded to throw it back like an ice cole beer on a hot summers day, but as soon as I had a mouth full and proceeded with the familiar "GULP" I almost threw up, got down that gulp but proceeded to spit out the rest that was in my mouth and then I proceeded to have the heaves over and over, almost throwing up, but just enough to hold it back....My face was red as a tomato and my eyes watering down my face like I was weaping for the Virgin Mary, man that was aweful... I had to laugh at it afterward, I'm a big dope! I came away with a whole new profound respect for the people who have done Fear Factor or any of those games that people eat sh!it like this. Never again! |
