Default Diet on non workout days

On my Workout days im trying hard as i can to cram in the calories.. i work out 3 times a week (sometimes 4) and they are intense workouts so I feel I should be eating all I can

but on non workout days should it be the same? or should i perhaps cutsay 4-500 calories off? My non workout days are fairly laid back. and i wonder whether the extra food is going to build muscle or just sitting doing nothing? (obv not nothing but you know what I mean)

Remember the most basic rule of mass building. Muscle grows when you rest, not when you lift. You still need to be stuffing your body with food, especially protein.

If you're worried about picking up fat, drop your carbs a bit on non-workout days but replace those calories with protein or fat.

agreed, rest days are just as important

Cut your carbs in half on non-workout days. maintiain protein and fat intake.
