It means if you take 8oz raw chicken breast and weigh it after cooking, it doesnt weigh 8 oz anymore, more like 5oz. So if youre going for accuracy, you should weigh it after cooking.

thnks.one more question,
just bought some tyson chicken breasts and the bag label says that its
4 oz(112g) = 110 calories
is this the weight/cals after cooked or raw?the chicken breasts are definitely going to be lighter after i cook it what i want to know is that if 110cals is equals to 4oz raw chicken breast or 4oz cooked chicken breast?
do u weigh your food cooked or raw?

Thats for 4 oz cooked. thing that sucks is when you buy a pound of chicken, you only really end up getting about 12 oz. Same with all meat really.
