how do/can i eliminate so much foam from my pwo shake?

i just finished working out and my shake looks like this--- half foam and half liquid on the bottom.
i drink what i can but the foam is really bothering me cuz i know rthere is protein in there but i can=t drink it.
i usually add more water mix it around and then chug it but that stuff is nasty.

How much water/ powder are you using?

If you have multiple ingredients (like oats, BCAA's, etc) you will probably need a blender, but otherwise I just use a spoon and never have problems with foam...

made in a shaker or in a blender?

if its in a blender you might have to stop wacking it on max power

if its in a shaker, stop using that wrist action too much

i hate froth too,

it happens to me when I use blender.. What kind of whey do you use? I think whey protein isolate forms foam.

Is this a pre made shake or are you making it right after? I usually only get foam after I let it set after my weight training class is over..then when I shake it a bit it goes away.

I get foam in my meal replacement shake(myoplex) which is whey isolate. I never have foam in my 100%whey pwo shake. I mix both in a shaker bottle.

Thumbs up

Try chopping the Ice first then add the water or milk and Powder last just to mix it in.

That's how I keep the foam to a min.

Default Foam

I know the problem. I used to think it was responsible for some of the gas. I pour from the blender with the lid open just a crack and pour slowly. Discard the foam. Also, yes, use less speed and blend for no more than 5 seconds.
