JaimeA has a spectacular aura about
Default Rowing Machine

Does anyone use one of these for cardio? Do you like it?
Since it actually uses Upper and lower body as well as abs for cardio, I think I'm going to try it tomorrow. I am a die hard elliptical user, but I want to hit more muscle groups including my abs. Please post thoughts, opinions, and experiences. I'll post after I use it. I'm afraid I won't be able to do the hour I do on the elliptical, though.

Ive used one before. It was alright. Not really my preference though. I still prefer the Arc Trainer. Now granted I just do cardio for my warm up before hitting the weights, so that may have jaded my opinion.

I use a rowing machine just for the fun of it! i think you can get a really good workout for the whole body.

When I was 12 I had one at home and I used to flip it up side down and on it's backside, then I'd get underneath it and use it like a bench and start benching upward with the rowing arms - LOL

So I tried it and agree with you. So it's back to the elliptical for me.
