What's too much time?
My days last about 45 mins to 1 hour and 15 mins at the very most, so not sure how long was taking you, but this time frame is perfect

the one thing about that split, from my experience, is that you have to alternate what compound you go heavy on for each day.

so like M would be heavy dead, medium squat, medium sldl
T would be heavy bench, medium military or shoulder press

Thurs would be medium dead or rack dead, heavy squat, heavy sldl
F would be medium chest, heavy military or shoulder press

just speaking from my exp, which isn't too much

Good point, half right in my opinion.

I only apply that logic to Back/Legs/Biceps days as squats and deads on the same day is brutal and those are the 2 biggest lifts you can do, so you have to alternate on this one

So far as chest, I do heavy bench, followed immediately by heavy military or shoulder DB presses, I dont see why you cant go heavy as possible here on both, I do it all the time

personally i can't go heavy on shoulders after chest, i'm usually burnt after chest. it's real bad how weak my chest is. like i usually burn out after flat bench, so even my incline suffers. there are some days where i can bench and then go heavy on military, but most days i can't. just my personal struggle.

We are all built differently, so I guess we'll all have our weak and strong areas. I burn out my biceps easily. They fatigue quickly after doing heavy back work, weaker and weaker with each set, so I know what you mean to a certain degree.
